Easier said than done guys.....but to each their own.

I know that Saturday up by me there were way too many guns going off 1 or 2 shots at a time to be everyone sighting in their rifles......pisses me off but I guess as long as they use them for food I can live with it.....I just hope they don't shoot any of the big bucks!!! Wink Wink Wink Wink

True. I would like to say that I would have turned him in, but then again I don't think it would be fair to interrupt my hunt to play lawman, only to have the jerk get away with it because no one responded to the call. Even if he did get caught, I don't even know if they would really do much to him. Besides, what if you don't have a cell phone? What if there is 20 min walk back to the truck and then another 10 min of driving to get service? It's not like you can ring a bell and CO magically appears. I guess you could try a citizens arrest like Gomer did to Barney.  Undecided

it makes me sick to think i have to spend the money i do every year to hunt, and you have these lazy sob's drivin around road huntin , walkin through the woods shootin anything and everything that moves. I'm out doin it the way your meant to do it and if i get caught im done , but every year the same ones get away with the same thing over and over.i catch ya poachin , or road huntin when you can walk and or sit in the dang woods , liable to be a fight lol. good luck all ye , sportsman, "let's go huntin". wv

I wasn't hunting but working and took a quick spin thru an old strip job I have hunted for years.  Saw 5 different vehciles/atv's, who knows how many people.  One fellow I talked to was upset because he missed a little 4pt standing right by the road...I just left disgusted.  Don't think I'll go back this year.  Sad

me and my family have the same problem at my farm in webster county, we know who it is and have caught him and confronted him but he still does it. This past time we were down there we found a tiny four point that he shot and left lay and he also nets the pond we have, it's been a couple years that he has been doin this. we would call the warden but it's an hour from the main road, plus the drive from there station.
